CLINICAL FOCUS
Could be a good fit if you are interested in trauma treatment and the impacts of trauma on Mental Health and Behaviors including Eating Disorders and Addictions.
Bonnie spent the first decade of her career working in both inpatient and outpatient addiction and eating disorder treatment centers and within the prison system with transgender females in male prisons. She has been a clinical director of an inpatient addiction treatment center and has enjoyed over 10 years of clinical supervision experience.
Bonnie is passionate around social justice issues and the importance of being competent in multicultural, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, body diversity and fatness, religious persecution and trauma, and ableism issues including equity in mental health treatment and employment. She takes a shame-free approach to learning and believes that she too has much to learn from you in this process.
Bonnie is trained in bottom up modalities including IFS (level 2 trained), EMDR basic and advanced trainings (is able to provide EMDRIA consultation hours), Somatic Experiencing (Currently Advanced 1 level), and DBT.
WASHINGTON Supervision
Bonfire Healing offers supervision with monthly fee based billing and guidance on practice setup. Bonnie is able to offer some insurance billing under her credentials as well as referrals when appropriate.
Individual and group supervision to meet licensing requirements in Washington fully for LMHCA and partially for LMFTA and LSWAIC. Individual supervision: $140 for 1 hour session. Group Supervision: $35-$70 for 1 hour session depending on size of group and licensing requirements.
